Announcements overview

Have you ever had the impulse to reach through the screen and whisper something in the user's ear? No? Is that just us?

Announcements are your way of communicating important information to the user.

How to create an announcement​

Navigate to Dashboard -> Nudges -> Announcements. From here you can start with a template or create a new announcement from scratch.

Most announcements only have a single step, but you can add as many as you need.

Situations where you can use announcements​

Some common situations where an Announcement might be the right tool for the job:

  • To announce an upcoming event (like a conference or a webinar)
  • To notify users about upcoming downtime or scheduled maintenance
  • To encourage the user to take a behavior, like upgrading or turning on a feature
  • For account-oriented communication, like late payment or a quota being exceeded
